Whistler Events Working Committee (WEWC)

The Whistler Events Working Committee is comprised of Whistler’s key Resort Partners including Resort Municipality of Whistler, Tourism Whistler, Whistler Blackcomb, Whistler Arts Council, Whistler Sport Legacies and Whistler Chamber of Commerce. They meet approximately every two months (or more regularly if required) to review event proposals and new event opportunities, and to ensure support being provided to existing events is consistent, streamlined and integrated between the various Partners.

The WEWC can offer expert advice and guidance on most types of events, and is a useful first point of contact whatever scale of event you are planning

The WEWC also works closely with the Events Whistler Executive who is comprised of Tourism Whistler, the Resort Municipality of Whistler, Whistler Blackcomb and Whistler Sport Legacies. The role of this group is to discuss the high level strategic direction of events in Whistler.
