Whistler's residents and businesses alike have a passionate commitment to protecting Whistler's natural mountain environment and are committed in moving forward to become a sustainable resort community. We encourage event producers to make sustainability part of their overall event plan.

Whistler strives for sustainable operations in nine standards that relate to areas of environmental impact. These standards include staff management and environmental policy, communications, waste, energy, air quality, water, procurement & community partners.

Whistler's Environmental Commitments: Zero net emissions, zero waste to landfill, and zero impact on forests by 2030.
